This year’s theme is “Nourish to Flourish” – and we mean that in every sense! Whether you’re just starting out or already deep into your nursing journey, this convention is your chance to learn from real-deal leaders across the nursing world. From discovering different nursing specialties 🩺 to mastering the art of self-care 🧘‍♀️ and building a roadmap to your own personal and professional success 💼 — we’ve got you covered!

Expect a day packed with engaging workshops, inspiring speakers, networking opportunities, swag (of course!)!

Once you park- you will enter the building and use the elevators to go to the fourth floor of the building. We will have signs and wayfinders to help you navigate the building! Meet our Keynote Opening Speaker: Dr. Amy Acton

Dr. Amy Acton grew up in Youngstown, Ohio under difficult circumstances. But Amy fought through it all – and now, Amy is running for governor to fight for every
Ohio family that’s struggling today.

After putting herself through medical school, Amy did a residency at Children’s Hospital and Ohio State University where she trained in pediatrics and preventive
medicine and created the first ever residency rotation in child advocacy.

As the Director of Project L.O.V.E ., she managed public private partnerships between Columbus area hospitals and key community stakeholders to keep our children
healthy. Amy then joined the faculty at Ohio State University where she became an award-winning professor of maternal and child health and global public health.
Amy eventually joined the Columbus Foundation where she worked to improve thecommunity health and well being, particularly in the area of women’s health and
youth homelessness.

Fun Fact:  After working for years to convince them, I finally was invited to participate in my grandsons’ fantasy football league.  I am now a “Legend” having won the championship in year 2 and the league in year 3!  They are quite impressed with my game skills!

Gracie Fannin (She, Her)

Specialty: Aesthetic and Wellness Nurse 

I graduated from Capital University with my BSN in 2023, did 2 years in the NICU at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and am currently an Aesthetic and Wellness nurse with MOBO Medical Spa. 

Fun Fact: I have two calico cats named Winnie and Mabel!

Fun Fact:  I was born in Germany!

New Grad RN- Labor and Delivery

Specialty:  NICU Nurse

Fun Fact:  I work on the only BPD NICU specialty floor in the world! It has been an incredible experience meeting with patients from all over the world, meeting other hospitals who come to learn from us, and learn from the best healthcare team to help our little ones fight the good fight!

Specialty: Cardiac PCU Nurse & BSN-to-DNP Student 

Fun Fact: Kelsey grew up dancing competitively!

We are proud to partner with Birdie Light. BirdieLight saves lives by educating young people about the danger of unintentional fentanyl ingestion, and by empowering them with tools to detect fentanyl before they ingest.
